Almost there

The May 2010 bloggerstock event is just a few days away. We are really excited to hear what everyone has come up with. If there are any participants that have any questions please feel free to email any of the founders, we are here to help.
In other news, we have chosen a topic for the June 2010 bloggerstock event. The topic is: “The story of what is around your ‘desk’.” In order to not exclude people who don’t have desks (myself included), you should allow yourself to get creative. Make something up like if you had a desk, or talk about what is in your workspace. We think that this has some potential and should hopefully be a little bit less of a “thinker” than the May topic. If you want to discuss the topic with other participants and the founders, there is space for that over in the bloggerstock forums.
Also, starting this month we will be taking suggestions for future bloggerstock topics. If you wish to submit an idea, please use the form over on the right hand side of this blog. We have not decided how we will pick from your submissions yet, we may do open polls or just have the founders choose, or some combination thereof. In any event, we would love to hear ideas. Just keep in mind that we would like topics that appeal to a wide range of people with a wide range of writing styles. Topics that creative writers and “matter-of-fact” writers can both find a way into are the best.

I'm excited to see how this goes down. I think about signing up for June once I see how May goes.
